It’s been an exciting year for Narbis and we are hitting the ground running in 2020! First stop for us is Las Vegas, where we will be showcasing our recently launched Narbis smart glasses at CES 2020, January 7-10.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, we’ll let the organization speak for itself: It’s “the world’s gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for 50 years — the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, it attracts the world’s business leaders and pioneering thinkers.”
Attendance is expected to exceed 175,000 people at CES 2020, which will include more than 1,000 speakers and more than 4,500 exhibiting companies—among them Narbis! Our booth will be in the Eureka Park showroom at the Sands Casino.
We chose to exhibit at Eureka Park as it is known as “the buzzworthy startup arena,” where companies/products/services that are new to the space are given the opportunity to make a name for themselves in the tech industry. We’ll be meeting with the members of the global media who can help tell our story, as well as potential investors and partners, all of whom can help Narbis grow.
We’re excited to have a presence at CES. Especially as a relatively new wellness product on the market, this is a prime opportunity to showcase ourselves as an innovative way to address attention and focus issues. We want to show consumers that neurofeedback technology is not just for those with a medical diagnosis. It can benefit children and adults who have trouble focusing on day-to-day tasks, which is likely a good majority of us. According to a 2018 study by Udemy, nearly three out of four workers (70 percent) admit they feel distracted when they’re on the job, with 16 percent asserting that they’re almost always distracted. Distractibility in today’s students is even worse, with studies showing they can’t focus on a given task for more than two minutes without getting distracted.
It’s clear that distractions are addictive. But there is evidence that we can train ourselves to avoid distractions—and that’s where Narbis comes in. We want to show consumers that our smart glasses can be integrated seamlessly into their daily lives and improve their performance in everyday tasks.
At CES, we want to give consumers, reporters, potential investors and partners the opportunity to try out the Narbis smart glasses to demonstrate the ease of use and efficacy of the product. We want to take Narbis mainstream as distractibility is an issue affecting almost everyone and we want to help those who struggle with focus and attention issues realize their true potential.
If you’ll be at CES, please feel free to come see us and give our Narbis smart glasses a try. We’ll be in Sands Expo Hall G, Level 1, at booth #51530. Hope to see you there.
